Hamdullah responded to a question regarding the location of the protest march. He claimed that millions from all over the country would join the long march against price rise and transform the twin cities into D-Chowk.

This is the same place where the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf had held a 126-day sit-in in opposition in 2014.

A reporter pointed out that each year, the army takes over large parts of the capital before the March 23 military parade.

Therefore, there could be a confrontation.Hamdullah, a senior member the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam, said that the government would be responsible for any untoward events.”We will come.He said, “Stop us Asad Umer,” while referring to a statement made by the minister of planning and development, that the opposition would be given a slap if it held long marches, the report added.
