Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath referred to Asaduddin Olaisi of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen Party as an "agent" for the Samajwadi Party.

Owaisi was also accused by Adityanath of inciting riots within the state.He warned that he would take strict action against any AIMIM leader who attempted to cause troubleYogi Adityanath addressed the "Booth Presidents Conference" at Kanpurs inauguration of its district headquarters office.
