Oracle reviewing TikTok’s algorithm to prevent US access to information to China

San Francisco, Aug 17 : Cloud major Oracle is currently examining the content of TikToks short-form video platform moderating algorithms to make sure that the Chinese government doesnt have access to US users personal data.

However, its "still not clear the exact date TikTok will be finished with the transfer of all of its previously stored US user data into Oracles cloud" it said in a report late on Tuesday.This move is intended to assure US lawmakers that the content of TikTok is not being altered by Chinese authorities, amid concerns that China has access to US users personal data.
