Oppn leaders meet at Parliament to discuss suspended 12 MPs

Opposition leaders from both Houses will meet at the office of Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge on Tuesday.

They are expected to march with 12 suspended MPsBoth the government and opposition are at odds on this issue.On Monday, the Upper House was witness to disruptions as the opposition demanded the lifting of suspension.

On Monday, Mallikarjun Kharge, leader of opposition, claimed in Rajya Sabha (Monday) that the government has forced the opposition to disrupt Parliament by refusing to revoke the suspension of 12 MPs.Kharge said, "The government is not considering its decision, and as you (chairman) is the custodian of the House, we request that the suspension be revoked.The adamant view of the government is to force the opposition to disrupt the House, so we decide to walkout.

"The suspended MPs are Syed Naseer Hussain, Akhilesh Prasad Singh, Phulo Devi Netam, Chhaya Verma, Ripun Bora and Rajmani Patel of the Congress; Priyanka Chaturvedi, Anil Desai of the Shiv Sena; Elamaram Kareem of the CPI-M, Binoy Viswam of the CPI; and Dola Sen and Shanta Chhetri of the Trinamool Congress.miz/dpb #Oppn #suspended #Delhi #Arjun #Delhi #New Delhi .
