New Delhi, Nov 29, : , The opposition in both Houses has intensified its attacks on the government as it prepares for Monday’s repeal of the farm laws.Many MPs from Congress and other parties have filed notices in their respective Houses.
Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, Floor Leader of Congress in Lok Sabha has issued an adjournment note in the House to suspend Question Hour so that the House can discuss the MSP issue.Chowdhury stated in the notice that the ‘Government should declare Minimum support price for all crops backed with legal guarantee’.

Congress MP Manish Twari has issued a notice of adjournment motion to the Lok Sabha requesting compensation for farmers who have lost their lives.Manickam Tagore has also issued similar notices in the Rajya Sabha.

Binoy Vishwam, CPI, has issued a Suspension Of Business Notice to the House requesting a discussion about ensuring a legal guarantee of (MSP) Minimum Support Prices for farm produce.

Sanjay Singh of Aam Aadmi Party has issued a Suspension of Business notice and demands that ‘discussion about the legal guarantee of Minimum support price for farmers’ be held under rule 267.

TRS MP K.Keshava Rao issued a Suspension Notification in the Rajya Sabha regarding crop procurement in Telangana.His notice states that he will discuss the ‘discriminatory’ Central government crop procurement policy over the non-procurement.

The government will present ‘The Farm Laws Repeal Bill 2021’ to the Lok Sabha Monday to complete the constitutional provisions for the repeal of three farm laws.

Narendra Singh Tomar, Agriculture Minister, will present the Farm Laws Repeal Bill 2021 to the Lower House.

The Farm Laws Repeal Bill 2021 will repeal three farm law — the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act 2020; the Farmers’ Produce Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act 2020; the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act (2020); and to amend the Essential Commodities Act (55).
