Omicron subvariant makes up nearly one quarter of new Covid cases in US

Washington, March 17 : The BA.2 sub-lineage of the Omicron variant now makes up nearly a quarter of new Covid-19 infections in the US, according to the latest data of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
