Olympian Arvind Sing wins gold at Asian Rowing C’ship

Ban Chang (Thailand), December 12 : .Indias Arvind Sing won the Gold in the Lightweight Men’s Single Sculls at Sundays Asian Rowing Championship.

He beat his competitors with a time 7:55.942India won three silver medals more on Sunday to end the championship.India won silver in the Mens Lightweight Double Sculls, Men’s Quadrapul Sculls, and Men’s Coxless Four.

India won four silver and two gold medals in the final competition.Arvind Singh finished 11th in Tokyo Olympics, along with Arjun Lal Jat, in the Men’s Lightweight Double Sculls.

This is Indias highest performance ever at the Olympics.He was first among competitors from Uzbekistan and China as well as Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Thailand.
