Odisha CM requests Collectors to care for Missionaries of Charity centres

Bhubaneswar : Dec 30, 2012 - Naveen Patnaik, Odisha Chief Minister has requested that District Collectors keep in touch with Missionaries of Charity organizations in the state.

He stated that funds from the Chief Ministers Relief Fund can be used for any purpose, " he said.The Chief Ministers directive comes after the Centres "refusal" to renew registration of Missionaries of Charity in accordance with the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act of (FCRA), for failing to meet the eligibility requirements under FCRA 2010 & Foreign Contribution Regulation Rules of (FCRR).
