New Delhi, Nov 28, : Reliance Jio, a major telecom company, announced that it would increase tariffs for its prepaid customers by around 20%, following Vodafone Idea and Bharti Airtel. The telecom major stated that the revised tariffs will be effective December 1.
Reliance Jio’s announcement comes just days after Vodafone Idea, Bharti Airtel and others announced increases in their respective prepaid tariffs.
These plans will offer the best value in industry.
Jio customers will continue being the largest beneficiaries of the Jio promise to provide the best-quality service at a low price worldwide.
Jio stated that the new unlimited plans will be available on December 1st 2021 and can still be opted via all existing touchpoints or channels.
Vodafone Idea announced on Tuesday that it would increase tariffs for its prepaid customers by approximately 20%.This change took effect on Thursday.
It stated that the revision of plans will begin the process for ARPU (Average revenue per unit) improvement and help address financial stress in the industry.
Bharti Airtel had raised its prepaid tariffs by about 20% earlier Monday.This change took effect on Friday.
