Chandigarh : , Friday, November 26 : , Haryana Water Resources Authority Chairperson Keshni Arora directed all industrial units to obtain a no-objection certificate at the earliest for extracting water as the authority is concerned about the declining water table. HWRA is currently working on a comprehensive plan.
All industrial units should apply by November 30 for a no-objection certificate, she stated.
As she presided over a workshop, she asked representatives from industrial units connected virtually to ensure maximum waste water utilisation.
She stated that the NOCs were previously issued by the Central Ground Water Board.They will now be issued by HWRA.
Arora stated that such workshops would be organized to address the problems faced industrialists.
Online applications can be made at www.hwra.org.in.
Bis now, 200 applicants have received NOCs in the state.
