No more pink cards in Telangana!

Telangana government has decided to abolish pink ration cards in the state.

Even though pink cards are not eligible for subsidized food from ration shops, there is a demand for them as they serve as a proof of address.

With Aadhaar cards serving as proof of address, the state government decided to stop issuing new pink cards or continue with the existing ones.KCR also asked officials to issue fresh white ration cards with the Telangana logo to eliminate existing bogus cards.
