Patna/New Delhi New Delhi, 5 Sep : Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar along with his “kitchen cabinet” arrived in New Delhi to meet opposition leaders, including Congress’s Rahul Gandhi, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal as well as Left leader of the party to discuss ways for defeating the BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha election.Nitish Kumar has a scheduled meeting with Gandhi at a later date on Monday.
“Aall opposition leaders share one goal – to be defeated by the BJP.I’m headed to Delhi to meet Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who is followed by the Vice President and President.In addition, we will have an appointment with other top leaders.The specifics of the gathering will be discussed following the meeting,” he said.
Nitish Kumar is joined by the national president of his party, Lalan Singh, and state ministers Sanjay Jha and Ashok Chaudhary.
Sources have confirmed sources have said that Nitish Kumar will meet with Kejriwal, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, NCP chief Sharad Pawar, Left party leaders D.Raja and Sitaram Yechury and others on Tuesday.On Wednesday, he will meet the Vice President and President.
Sources have confirmed that Nitish Kumar will soon be visiting Maharashtra, Haryana and Karnataka as well as meet with chiefs in the camp of opposition.He is expected to visit Om Prakash Chautala, as well as Bhupinder Singh Hooda in Haryana Maharashtra’s former CM Uddhav Thackeray and Pawar and the former PM H.D.Deve Gowda and his son and former Chief Minister H.D.Kumaraswamy in Karnataka.
In the early hours in the daytime, Nitish Kumar visited Rabri Devi’s home to meet with his RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav.
