The Jagan government has taken a crucial decision in the wake of the resurgence of the coronavirus cases in Andhra Pradesh.The government has extended the night curfew for another week across the state.
Curfew restrictions will be in place every day from 10 pm to 6 am.Also, the government made it clear to the civilians that everyone must adhere to the Covid protocols.
Today, Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy conducted a review meeting on Covid prevention and vaccination in Andhra Pradesh.On this occasion, CM Jagan directed the officers to be ready to face the third wave of coronavirus.
He suggested gearing up the construction of pediatric super care hospitals in Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam and Tirupati for children.
Also, CM Jagan directed the police officials to set up Covid care equipment and recruit doctors for medical services.
He said that steps must be taken to make oxygen beds available up to the level of community hospitals.
CM Jagan suggested that oxygen cylinders and concentrators should also be made available in PHCs, telemedicine services and internet facilities should be available in Covid care centres.
