NHAI is taking up the elevated road projects at the an order of Rajasthan CM

Jaipur 9 Aug : NHAI has taken over the construction of elevated roads to be constructed in Jodhpur on the demand of Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.

Gehlot met with Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari in this regard on Tuesday.

"I am delighted that, after accepts my request and the construction of this road elevated is being completed by NHAI.The State Government had announced the preparation of its DPR in the Budget 2019-20, in which the Public Works Department, Government of Rajasthan had submitted the necessary suggestions to NHAI.

The Government of India has recently appointed a Project Management Consultant through whom DPR is expected to be completed soon.After the completion of DPR I would like NHAI to begin construction work right on the site through a tendering process.

I had a conversation with Shri Gadkari in the past about the elevated road.I would like to see in the next few years, the work of the road will be completed and flow of traffic will be easy in Jodhpur," the CM declared.

Prior to that, the Chief Minister also held an interview with Gadkari about the road that is elevated.He stated that with the construction of the road, circulation in Jodhpur will be smooth.arc/uk .
