She added that the state will comply with the Centres directives "So far, everything is under control.However, there are reports of a new variant.

Therefore, it is important to strictly follow the Covid protocols, which include the use of sanitizers, masks, and social distancing.George stated that the Centres guidelines for quarantine are expected.

He also said that we will be cautious about this aspect.The new variants scare comes at a time when Kerala has been registering 50 percent of all new cases each day for the past few weeks and has a similar track record of having a high proportion of active cases.
