TDP MLC Nara Lokesh expressed deep concern over the unemployment in the state.He criticized the YCP government for not providing jobs to the youth of the state even after 300 unemployed people committed suicide during its two-year rule.Nara Lokesh recalled that Jagan said that immediately after getting into power, a one-time notification will be released by the YCP govt for the 2.30 lakh government jobs that were vacant in the state at that time.
Lokesh held the YCP govt responsible for Gopal, an unemployed youth from Chanugondla village in Kodumuru constituency of Kurnool district, death.He mourned the death of Gopal.
Nara Lokesh said that Gopal, who had been waiting for a job calendar for two years, committed suicide out of dissatisfaction.
Lokesh said he had received a letter from Gopal’s younger brother Srinivasalu asking him to fight against the injustice done to his family.Lokesh took to Twitter and responded to Srinivasulu’s letter.
“I can understand the anguish your family is going through.Soon I will come to Chanugondla village and meet your parents.I will lead the fight and bring pressure on the government.As promised, my fight will not stop till Jagan fills 2.30 lakh vacant government jobs immediately,” Lokesh said.
