Kolkata, November 15, : , The Calcutta High Court ordered Suvendu Adhikari to file an affidavit describing his petition to the Supreme Court to transfer the Nandigram election results case to another court in West Bengal.

The Nandigram election result case got involved in a legal tangle after Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee filed a petition challenging the result alleging manipulation after she was defeated by Adhikari by a margin of 1,965 votes.

After Chief Minister Mamata Bangerjee lost to Adhikari by 1,965 votes, the Nandigram election results case became entangled in legal complications.The case was initially assigned to the bench of Justice Kaushik Chanda but Banerjee filed a separate petition requesting to change the judge as he was associated with the BJP legal cell before he was elevated as a judge.
