N. Korea discusses the final review of the draft resolution for party plenary

North Korea discussed an expected resolution at the conclusion of a Workers Party plenary.

There were expectations that the document would include its new foreign policy, Pyongyang state media reported FridayAccording to Korean Central News Agency, the North hosted a fourth-day of the 4th Plenary Meeting held by the Workers Partys 8th Central Committee.Participants "concluded sectional workshop and consultative sessions" during the session.

Participants launched sections workshops Tuesday in order to map out plans according the the "fighting policies" set out by Kim Jong Un under his report on "the orientation of work of the state and party in 2022", Yonhap News Agency stated citing the KCNA.It stated that the meeting had "constructive opinions" which were added to a resolution draft and then finalized their examination.

Although the KCNA didnt provide any details, it is possible that the final resolution will include North Koreas stance regarding the impassed inter-Korean relations as well as its nuclear negotiations with the US.Top officials responsible for these issues were seen taking part in the discussions sessions.It is anticipated that the resolution will be revealed at the conclusion of the plenary.

According to the KCNA, a fifth-day session would be held.However, it is not clear how long this gathering will go on.Previously, plenary meetings took between 1 and 4 days.The meeting this week has attracted a lot of attention because it may replace Kims New Years Day speech, which is closely monitored by the world to get clues about the countrys foreign and domestic policy for the coming year.
