A Mumbaikar moved Bombay High Court, for seeking divorce on grounds that his wife is not cooking tasty food.He claimed in his affidavit that she wasn’t a dutiful wife and didn’t cook tasty food for him.
The Justice duo KK Tated and Sarang Kotwal took into account that the Petitioner’s wife in spite of being a working woman, had to handle additional burden of buying groceries and cooking food for the entire family.The Bench maintained not cooking tasty food doesn’t amount to cruelty and the plea for divorce can’t be entertained.
The husband in his petition made all silly allegations against his wife.
Shock stricken wife however thrashed the allegations and blamed that her husband and her in-laws had ill-treated her.High Court Bench upheld the order of the Family Court dismissing the divorce plea favoring the wife of the petitioner in this case.
