Moving of illegal drugs has become a major issue Under DMK regime: AIADMK

Chennai 15 August : AIADMK leader and former Tamil Nadu minister, D.Jayakumar said the movement of illegal drugs was widespread throughout the 14 months of the DMK government, and added that it has no influence over the law and law and order situation in the state.

He stated that he was expressing this in the sense that leading the government was a responsibility of the Opposition and the AIADMK was an accountable opposition party in the state.He also stated that the amount of criminal cases filed in the state was rising and the rise in the volume of cases translates into that there is an rise in the quantity of offenders , and the state government must reduce this in the greater interest of the public.

The former minister spoke out in a harsh way against state health minister Ma Subramanian over the latters criticism of the former Chief Minister K.Palaniswami and said EPS had reached the peak of power through hard work and sheer determination.aal/pgh .
