Moscow insists on West to help Russian export of grain

Moscow 12 August : Moscow has asked Western nations to help in the complete execution of the Istanbul grain agreement, which also includes exports of Russian fertilisers and food items.

On the 22nd of July, Russia and Ukraine independently signed a document in Istanbul with Turkey as well as with the United Nations on grain and fertiliser exports from Ukraine and Russia. The delivery of Ukrainian grain to Black Sea ports started on August 1st, Xinhua news agency reported "Unfortunately there isnt one vessel with (Ukrainian) grain has yet made it to the shores of the countries that are starving in Africa or South Asia.

They mostly headed towards Western ports," the diplomat told reporters. He claimed that the cargoes are composed mostly of sunflower oil and corn and not wheat, calling into question the credibility of Western statements that the global food security is contingent on the Istanbul deal.int/khz/ .
