Ulan Bator : , Nov 29 : .In the last 24 hours, Mongolia reported 190 new Covid-19 infections.
This is the lowest number since March, when 170 cases per day were reported. The ministry stated that the latest confirmed cases have pushed the country’s Covid-19 count to 382,323, in a statement.
Xinhua news agency reported that the death toll from Covid in Mongolia rose to 1,922 following the deaths of five more patients over 40.
According to the ministry, currently, 6,043 Covid patients are receiving care in hospitals all over the country.Meanwhile, 11,736 are receiving home-based treatment.
Over 66% of Mongolia’s population, which is 3.4 million, have received two doses of the Covid vaccine, while 640,074 adults over 18 have received a booster.
According to the country’s health ministry, at least half the population should receive a booster dose.
