Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh), Nov 29, : .Prime Minister Narendra Modi will open the branch of AIIMS Gorakhpur in mid December. Chief Minister Yogi Amityanath announced that in December, an All-India Institute of Medical Sciences will be inaugurated at Gorakhpur.Also, a fertiliser factory that has been closed since 1990 will be reopened.
Yogi Adityanath stated, “The inauguration for the AIIMS Gorakhpur will take place next month.” There has been a demand to set up an AIIMS Gorakhpur since 2004.
He also stated that the fertiliser factory which had been closed since 1990 will be reopened next month.Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate the facilities to the public.
He stated that the state’s healthcare sector has seen a remarkable transformation under Prime Minister Modi.
Since Independence, there were only 12 medical schools in the state.
But today, 33 medical schools are being built by the government.
Uttar Pradesh will go to the polls in the early part of next year.
