Modi talks to Macron to discuss France fires and bilateral concerns

New Delhi, Aug 16 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday had an audio conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron during which he expressed his solidarity with Macron.

Modi expressed his solidarity to the French leader in the face of the wildfires and drought in the country of his birth, according to an officialThe Prime Ministers Office in a statement said that the two leaders also discussed the ongoing bilateral initiatives, including cooperation in the field of defence and collaboration in nuclear energy for civil purposes.
