Modi gives LCH to Indian Air Force

Jhansi, UP : , Prime Minister Narendra Modi handed the LCH (light combat helicopter) that was developed in India to the Indian Air Force at Jhansi.
On the final day of the ‘Rashtra Raksha Parv’ celebrations held in Jhansi, Rani Laxmi Bai’s 193rd birthday, the Prime Minister laid the foundation for the plant of Bharat Dynamics.

It will produce propulsion systems for anti-tank guided rockets in Jhansi.

The foundation stone was also laid for Jhansi’s 600-MW super mega solar park, which is intended to transform the city into an international solar hub.

Official sources claim that the light combat helicopter uses advanced technology and stealth features to combat effectively.

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited designed and created the LCH.The LCH is the only helicopter capable of landing and taking off at a height of approximately 5,000m with a large load of fuel and weapons.

For combat role effectiveness, the LCH incorporates stealth technology and advanced technologies.

He also gave the Army drones that were developed by Indian startup companies, as well as advanced electronic warfare software for destroyers and aircraft carriers, and to Indian Navy.

The Prime Minister spoke on this occasion and paid tribute to Jhansi (the land of valour) as well as recalling the contributions of Rani Laxmibai during the struggle for freedom.

“Last year, on Dev Deepawali I was in Kashi.Today I’m here for ‘Rashtra Raksha Samarpan Perv’.He said that both occasions were “unique for me.”

He also gave glowing praises to Jhansi’s ‘heroes,’ including Rani Laxmibai and Jhalkari Bai, as well as Major Dhaynchand.
