" The group of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was extended with the appointment of 18 ministers in the city on Tuesday.In a bid to balance the scales, Shinde has inducted nine ministers from his own group and similar number from his allies Bharatiya Janata Party, over 40 days after the two was elected on June 30, following the fall of the former Maha Vikas Aghadi government , headed by the former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.ssb/dp.
