When you go to a hotel or restaurant you order your favorite food.However you will be surprised to know about a hotel that you do not need to order.
Mirchi and Mime Restaurant is located in Powai, Maharashtra and opened in March 2015.Every aspect of this restaurant is illustrated with pictures.
This is the first restaurant of its kind in India.After seeing the photo in the menu, gesture and order their favorite food.
This restaurant was started by Prashant Issar and Anuj Shah, MBA graduates from Henley Business School in the UK.Prashant and Anuj came up with the idea of opening this restaurant in August 2014.Mirchi and Mime officially started working from May 2015.Every dish in this restaurant is very unique.The restaurant strives to cater to 250 people daily.The restaurant staff is trained by the Dr.Reddy’s Foundation.The eight-week course provides job preparation and basic knowledge of the English language.
There will also be a two-week training course on staff hospitality, which will include talking about holding a tray to pour water into a glass.Prashant Issar said that every boy and girl in the staff is always smiling.
All the food items are on the same menu card.One look at the menu and you’ll understand how to place your order with a server who doesn’t communicate in the same language as you.“The menu is quite simple, every section of the menu has the hand sign and every dish has a corresponding number sign.So you just have to sign the top section with the corresponding number of the dish and the server will take your order.
