Uttarakhand rescues minor girl kidnapped in Delhi

New Delhi, November 20 : .A small girl who had been kidnapped in Delhi on November 12, was saved by Delhi Police officers from Rudrapur, Uttarakhand.

All the required details were fetched across the country during the investigation and the information was sent directly to Doordarshan, CBI, NCRB and CBI," DCP Shankar Choudhary stated.It was discovered that the main suspect is a man who worked at a mobile shop nearby.

The victims mobile phone numbers, as well as those of friends and suspected people were used for technical surveillance.It did not yield any clues.

Riyaz Ahmad, an Uttar Pradesh resident, was taken into custody.Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital performed the medical exam of the victim.

A local court recorded her statement pursuant to section 164 CrPC.The case was closed after the victims statement.

Section 6 of the POCSO Law was also added.The trend in crimes against women in the capital continues to be upwards compared with last years statistics.
