Meta examines end-to end encryption tests for private chats using Messenger

New Delhi, Aug 11 : Meta on Thursday announced that it was testing end-to end encryption for individual chats using its Messenger application.

You can also opt to restore your Messenger conversations through the cloud of a third party.The company also said that it would also be testing the capability to delete messages, respond to Facebook Stories and offer other ways to gain access to your end-to-end encrypted communications and calls.

Meta has announced that it will also getting rid of vanish mode in Messenger but messages that disappear will be accessible in the settings of end-to-end encrypted chats "This mode allows all messages to disappear after a specified date after theyve been viewed.Chats in the vanish mode on Instagram arent secure from end to end, but will be accessible," it added.
