Mayawati appoints Uma Shankar Singh to lead the BSP legislature party

Lucknow, Nov 26th : Uma Shankar Singh has been appointed the leader of the Legislature Party by the Bahujan Samaj Party in Uttar Pradesh.

Uma Shankar Singh succeeded Guddu JamaliSingh, a two-term MLA, represents the Rasra Assembly seat of Ballia district.He is also a Thakur by birth.

The BSP issued a statement a day later, saying that Guddu Jamali had resigned from his post and was being dismissed for his involvement in an exploitation case by a woman.amita/khz/dp #Mayawati #Shankar #Singh #legislature.
