We recently heard that this director apparently relies on the 3 Minute Technique of story telling.This snippet of information was revealed by lyricist Vairamuthu, who is working with Mani Ratnam for his current project.

He said that “Mani Ratnam says that if a story cannot be narrated in 3 minutes, then it is not a story that is worth telling.” So all his successful stories can be narrated in just 3 minutes.
