Currently she is acting in a small budget film Budugu.The story related to unhealthy practices of a family who expects unrealistic things from their children beyond their capacity.

Lakshmi Manchu plays the lead role in this movie.Master Prem Babu does the title role.Manmohan is directing this touching flick.Music is by Sai Karthik.

Bhakar and Sarika are jointly producing the film.Makers reveals: "Budugu is based on the kid who is in depression and the problems faced by the family because of his condition.Its an emotional family thriller and we havent seen such a film in Telugu till now".
