Telugu actor Adivi Selch, who plays Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan in Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film, Major, says that the braveheart was more than a fighter.

He also had a great sense of humor.Adivi Sesh, an IANS interviewer, said that he remembered his heroics and his firm expression as he held his ground even when Mumbais Taj Mahal Palace Hotel was set on fire.

"I discovered that he was the first person to make a joke, even in the most difficult situations, while researching my character." He had a very captivating smile.

He pointed out that the film is not just about 26/11 and the role of the late National Security Guards officer (NSG) in releasing hostages inside the Taj Mahal Palace.Its also about Major Unnikrishnan and the warmth of his character.

The actor, who was born in the USA, claimed that he was there when 26/11 happened and that he saw it on television.It was a shock to me when I first saw the photograph of Major Sandeep.

I felt an immediate connection to the photograph because he reminded me of some of my cousins.We look very similar in many ways.

" The actor continued his narration by saying: "It wasn’t just about me learning more information about a warrior.It was something more.

I kept thinking about him because of his photo.I became a fan of his photo and created a path to make an animated movie about his life.

Although the film may be about Major Unnikrishnans two most tragic days, the actor stated that it was not just about him.Sesh stated, "Our intention was to present the events through his point of view but it was important that we find an equilibrium and understand the fact that so many people fought that day, many who were also killed," Sesh was quizzed on documentaries and movies made about the terror attacks "I watched a few documentaries and honestly, the event was exaggerated and exploited." Sesh stated that he believes that when making a film about the incident, we should not be exploitative.

He also said that the films tight script and Director Shashi Kiran Tippas keen eye for visuals will allow the crew to fulfill their promise.Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan received the Ashok Chakra, the nations highest award for peacetime gallantry, for his exceptional bravery.
