After 30 positive tests for Covid, Mahindra Varsity closes its doors

Hyderabad, Nov 27, : Saturdays closure of Mahindra University in Hyderabad was due to positive Covid-19 tests by 25 students and five staff members.

They announced that they will be able to take classes online starting Monday.IANS was informed by university sources that five students, one faculty member, and four support staff tested positive for Covid-19.

Sources claim that 1,700 students and staff were tested for the virus.Meanwhile, K.Mallikarjuna Rao, the District Medical and Health Officer (DMHO), Medchal Makajgiri, visited the university Saturday.He stated that those who test positive were living in isolation at home.
