After 30 positive tests for Covid (Ld), Mahindra University closes its doors.

Hyderabad, Nov 27, : Saturdays closure of Mahindra University in Hyderabad came after five staff members and 25 students were positive for Covid-19.

They announced that they will be able to take classes online starting Monday.IANS was told by university sources that Covid-19 was tested positive in 25 students, one faculty member, and four support staff.

Sources claimed that Covid was tested on 1,700 students and staff members.On Saturday, K.Mallikarjuna Rao, the District Medical and Health Officer (DMHO), of Medchal Malkajgiri was at the university.He stated that those who were positive for the test were in home isolation.

Officials stated that the university had declared a 15-day holiday.The multi-disciplinary university was launched by the Mahindra Group last summer.It is spread across 130 acres.
