New Delhi, Nov 28, : , Prakash Javadekar, a former Union Minister and senior BJP leader, said Sunday that after two years of Maha Vidkas Aghadi (MVA), Maharashtra’s Maharashtra government, the state now has an ‘absentee, accidental’ Chief Minister. Javadekar addressed a press conference here Sunday.
He stated that corruption and criminalization of politics are hallmarks of the MVA government.Javadekar stated that corruption is being investigated by several ministers, members of parliament and MLAs.
At Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.Javadekar stated: “He (Thackeray), rarely visits his Mantralaya Office.and for the very first time, Maharashtra experiences an ‘absentee” and an ‘accidental chief minister.”
“Income tax raids at the NCP minister’s (place have revealed ‘benami property of Rs 1000 crore.Another NCP minister was arrested for assaulting an ordinary man.The third NCP minister purchased land parcels from terrorists of the 26/11 terror attacks at an incredibly low price.He said that the fourth Minister was charged with giving lucrative contracts his son-in law which had to be cancelled.”
Senior leader of Bharatiya Janata Party, (BJP), stated that this government had looted Maharashtra and betrayed voters.
“He (Thackeray), is charged with not disclosing income and assets in electionaffidavits.His PA built a bungalow contrary to CRZ rules.After being charged, he demolished the bungalow.A Shiv Sena minister built a resort in violation CRZ rules.
It is important that he sells it, the former union minister stated.
He also attacked the MVA government for the law and order situation in the State.
Javadekar stated, without naming anyone: “The Crime Intelligence Unit chief of Mumbai is charged for planting bomb and friend’s death.” Four other police officers were also arrested and are currently in jail.The Mumbai Police Commissioner was charged with ruling dispensation for extortion in a large extent.He had also been missing for nine months.
This is the lowest point in Maharashtra’s governance.
Javadekar claimed that all this was happening because the government was created with a sheer hunger for power, disregarding all morals, and betraying voters and people’s mandate.
“Shiv Sena fought in the elections as an alliance partner with BJP.It displayed posters of Prime Minister NarendraModi all over the place and won.Because of their desire to be in power, the Congress and the NCP joined forces with them.He said that it was the most corrupt, opportunist and non-functional government Maharashtra had ever seen.”
