New Delhi, Dec 1, : Tuesday’s Lok Sabha will likely discuss the Omicron version of Covid and other legislative Business.The government will also attempt to introduce ‘The Assisted Procreation Technology (Regulation), Bill, 2020’ which it failed to do in its first two days of this session.
Sources claim that the Rule 193 rule will govern the discussion about the Omicron variant.This rule allows members to request information about the new Covid variant.”Short-term discussion is likely to take place in the Lok Sabha about the new Omicron variant.Sources said that Mansukh Mandaviya, Health Minister, will inform the House about the new Omicron variant.

Mandaviya informed Rajya Sabha on Tuesday that no Omicron variant case had been reported in the country.He also informed the Upper House about country’s preparedness.

Mandaviya will also introduce “The Assisted Reproductive Tech (Regulations) Bill, 2020”.The Bill regulates and supervises assisted reproductive tech clinics and assisted technology banks.
