Lok Sabha debates Bill to amend higher judiciary’s service conditions and salaries

New Delhi : Tuesday, December 7, 2018 - The Lok Sabha took up the Amendment Bill 2021 to the High Court and Supreme Court Judges Salaries and Conditions of Service (Salaries and Conditions of Service) Bill.

Several members raised concerns over the high number of cases pending.

She also argued for the strong need to reform Collegium.

He said, "We must ensure that these judges don't receive multiple pensions."

However, he added that it was better for the Bill to mention judges who have been in office over 90 years.

On Wednesday, the Minister will respond and try to pass the bill.
