LinkedIn releases new features to improve engagement with users

San Francisco, Aug 12 : Professional social network LinkedIn is announcing that it will roll out new tools to help users to develop visual content that will help their brand stand out and build their professional network.

As one of the latest tools, Google announced that users can now add clickable links to videos or images "You can now motivate your friends to take additional actions either on or off LinkedIn by simply putting the clickable link directly on your photos and videos to direct your followers to your site or an upcoming event, your most recent newsletter or other sources," the company said in an announcement.To include a clickable hyperlink, create your own mobile post with the image or video, then tap the "Add an link" icon, then add your URL and customized link text, and then post away.

The feature will roll out over the next few weeks.Users can also create short and visually appealing blog posts with templates "If youre looking for an easy way for your text posts to be noticed in the Feed and get your readers attention, weve created templates specifically for you,"" the firm said.

Go to the share button or tap "Post" on your mobile device and then tap "Use templates" and from there, you can effortlessly create visually appealing content for your viewers.Choose from a range of customizable backgrounds and fonts.
