In TN’s Tirunelveli, lightning kills men

Chennai, November 18 : A man aged 48 was killed by lightning at Radhapuram in Tirunelveli District of Tamil Nadu.

His family searched for him after he didnt return to his home in the evening and discovered his burnt body.After being injured during lighting strikes, seven others were also admitted to Tirunelveli District Hospital.

The district was hit hard by heavy rains and the water ran into Manakavalam Pillai Corporation Hospital, causing discomfort for patients and others.Heavy downpur is still evident in Tenkasi, but it has stopped at Kanyakumari.
