Bhopal 22 Nov : .Police said that a 10-year-old tribal boy, who was from Bhopal in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, was killed by a leopard on Monday. Around 7:15 a.m., a leopard attacked several boys who were playing along the Seoni road.
Police said that the leopard spotted the boys and they tried to run, but one was captured by it.He was then dragged into the forest.”
The incident angered the villagers who reached the area and attempted to capture the leopard, but unsuccessfully.
Forest officials received an alert and sent a team to the scene.
A rescue team from Pench National Park was dispatched to calm down and capture the leopard.
A forest official stated that villagers were angry at the leopard and tried to kill it.
It is the fourth incident in two months where leopards have killed villagers.
A leopard attacked a woman who was cutting paddy in Ugli Village on October 19.
A leopard killed a girl 16 years old in Kanhiwada’s forest on October 16.
Similar incidents occurred in Mohhaon Village, where a man was killed by a large cat.It happened on September 15.
