Legendary Singer SP.Balasubrahmanyam was tested positive to Covid-19 and was hospitalized since last month.After a few days, his close sources confirmed that SPB health is stable and he is responding for the treatment but for a couple of days his health got extremely critical and he was on life support and was put on ventilator support.In what could be said as bad news, this veteran Indian playback singer and actor has now passed away today in the MGM hospital in Chennai.
After fighting with death for 41 days, he lost the battle as he died at 1:04 PM on 25th September.Doctors say that as SPB had other health issues and he suffered a brain hemorrhage today and they could not save him.Born on June 4, 1946, in Nellore, Sripathi Panditaradhyula Balasubrahmanyam debuted as a singer in 1966 with “Sri Sri Sri Maryada Ramanna”.At a time Ghantasala was ruling as the top singer in South India, SPB made his debut and soon got recognition.
His melodious voice earned name and fame within no time.
SP Balu is an ace singer, musician, actor, dubbing artist, and film producer as well.He has sung 40,000+ songs in 16 languages and even composed music for 45 films in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Hindi.SPB even got registered in the Guinness Book Of World Records for recording the highest number of songs by a singer.
The legendary singer has won six National Film Awards, 25 Andhra Pradesh State Nandi Awards.He has won several Kannada and Tamil Nadu State Awards.He has won Film Fare Award in Bollywood and six Film Fare Awards South.He also acted in more than 40 films in the South and gave life to many young talents through music shows.
