Cricketers from top teams wish the nationmen Happy Independence Day

New Delhi, Aug 15 : Leading India cricketers, both former and current which include Shikhar Dhawan, Mithali Raj, Sachin Tendulkar, and Virat Kohli took to social media to express their gratitude to the nation on the 75th anniversary of its Independence Day, which is being celebrated as Azadi Khan Amrit Mahotsav.

" Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar shared an Instagram video of him hoisting the Tricolour in his home and wrote "Dil my bhi Tiranga, Ghar par bhi Tiranga." Shikhar Dhawan, who will be leading the team in the three-match One-Day International series against Zimbabwe beginning on August 18th, tweeted his hopes for the country with an e-video, as the former India captain Virat Kohli wrote, "75 glorious years.I am proud to be an Indian.Happy Independence Day to all.Jai Hind." Former India cricketer VVS Laxman tweeted "May the splendor of our Nation last forever! I wish peace, love, and prosperity to all on the day of Independence Day.We are proud to be an Indian.Jai Hind!" Mohammad Kaif tweeted, "I am aware of the force of tiranga as well as India jersey.
