Choreographer turned actor and director Raghava Lawrence needs no introduction as he has done a lot of social activities for the poor in the past on a regular basis.Along with providing required help for the education of economically poor to giving financial help to the operations of kids to a lot of things are being carried by this dance master.
Taking to his social media, Lawrence has pledged to donate Rs.3 crore towards Corona relief works.Another interesting news he revealed was that he got the opportunity to act in the sequel of Superstar Rajinikanth ‘Chandramuki’ movie, which will be directed by P.Vasu and produced by Kalanithi Maran under Sun Pictures banner.
Out of the Rs.3 crore amount, 50 lakh will go to the PM Cares fund and another 50 lakh amount for the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.Another 50 lakh will be going to the film union Film Employees Federation of South India (FEFSI) and Rs.50 lakh to the Dancer’s Union.He has also donated Rs 25 lakhs for his NGO which will go to the disabled persons and another 75 lakh to the daily wage laborers.
Another news is that this amount is the advance he received for his upcoming movie ‘Chandramukhi 2’.
With the massive donation, Lawrence stands next to Prabhas in the south who donated 4 crores for such funds.This is not something new by Lawrence but he once again proves that he is a man with a golden heart.
