Haryana CM says MSP law is ‘unlikely’

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal has stated that it is "impossible" to pass a law on MSPAfter meeting Prime Minister NarendraModi in New Delhi, the Haryana Chief minister stated that it was not possible to make a law regarding MSP because doing so would put pressure on government to buy all the crops.

This comment is being considered a "major declaration" because, despite the governments announcement to repeal the three agricultural laws the strike and agitation by farmers organizations is still ongoing.Farmers organizations are asking the Union government for a law regarding MSP.Manohar Lal stated that the Prime Minister was concerned that farmers would not return home.He stated that the announcement to repeal laws had "sent a positive message" and that farmers will "definitely go back to their homes" once the law is removed during the winter session.

The Haryana Chief Minister stated that many other issues such as pollution, stubble burning and cleanliness were brought up with the Prime Minister.The Manohar Lal extended an invitation for the Gita Mahotsav to the Prime Minister and urged him to lay foundation stones for the Orbiter Rail Corridor.
