Los Angeles, Nov 28, : Lady Gaga, singer-actress, felt it was “extra important” to speak Italian in everyday situations in order to play the role of Gucci in Ridley Scott’s ‘House Of Gucci. The movie tells the story Patrizia Reggiani who was convicted for hiring a hitman in order to kill her ex-husband Maurizio Guicci.
Gaga spent months perfecting her accent and Italian accent.
According to femalefirst.co.uk, she said that it was especially useful in mundane situations like shopping trips.
According to the Metro newspaper, the pop star said that times like these made it more important.Because I had my hair dyed brown and was wearing a Covid Mask, I was able to interact with people at the grocery store and practice speaking with the accent without them realizing it was me.
She stated that she wanted the accent “naturally ready” in her body while she was filming the movie.
The ‘Bad Romance” singer said that she didn’t want to just use the accent on set.She also stated that she would never have been ready.I wanted the accent to be natural in my body so that when I was working it was the last thing on my mind.”
Gaga shared similarities between herself, Patrizia, and said that she wanted to “inject humanity” into her alter ego.
She stated that she wanted to bring out the humanity of Patrizia in the character.There’s a part of Patrizia that reminds of me of myself.She wants to be famous, but she wants to control and direct the narrative.
Jared Leto, her co-star, said that he was impressed by her approach to acting.
He said, “Everybody has their own method, whether it be eating a cheeseburger in front of a scene or FaceTiming mom.Everyone has their own method and if you are more prepared and more committed, that’s great.It’s exciting to work with people like this.”
