Bengaluru, Nov 29 : Karnataka Congress chief D.K.Shivakumar sent letters to Prime Minister NarendraModi and Chief Minister Basavaraj Bhommai opposing the proposed shift of Indian Human space Flight Programme (ISRO) from Bengaluru, India to Gujarat. He also raised concerns about privatization of ISRO.

The agency also plans to fly the first GSLV-in Rocket homegrown. If the flight is completed on time, India will be the fourth nation to launch its own space-flight, following the US, Soviet Union, and China.
It is a highly prestigious and historic project. He explained that the Karnataka people are proud of this project.
He said, “You are aware that people from Karnataka are emotional and attach to national programmes and feel proud whenever the state hosts them.”
