Krishna Vamsi is one of the popular Tollywood directors who enjoyed massive fan-following in the 1990s.He has received two National Film Awards, three Filmfare Awards South, and three Nandi Awards.

Before his directorial debut with ‘Gulabi’, he worked as an assistant director to Ram Gopal Varma.‘Gulabi’ starred J D Chakravarthy and Maheswari in the lead roles and the film was a super hit back in the 90s.In 1996, he directed the film ‘Ninne Pelladata’, one of the highest-grossing Telugu films of the time.

Later on, he continued to direct films such as ‘Mogudu’, ‘Paisa’, ‘Nakshatram’ but none of them have proved to be a hit at the box office.

Now the latest news is that creative director Krishna Vamsi is all set to treat the audience with his upcoming film ‘Annam’.The veteran director has announced the new film on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri.

He released a powerful title poster, which has the tagline of “Para Brahma Swaroopam”.

Speaking about the poster, it has letters written in Telugu with rice while we see blood marks on the banana leaf.

A sickle and Mangalasuthram are also placed on the leaf.Dry barren land is on the scenery of banana leaf which has English phrases such as Free Schemes, Registration, Suicide, and Land Mafia among others.

We can say the film is based on farmers.The poster confirms the pre-production work of the film has started.

The details on the rest of the cast and crew will be out in the days to come.
