Kohli arrested for Physically Abusing Actress

Popular television reality show Bigg Boss is akin to controversies with contestants getting into ugly fights.Season 7 was also hit by controversies - the latest being the arrest of contestant Arman Kohli Actor Armaan Kohli, who is currently contesting to win the Bigg Boss game show, was arrested by Lonavla police after former house mate Sofia Hayat filed an FIR against him for allegedly physically abusing her.

Kohli was picked up from the Bigg Boss house by Lonavala city police on Monday night.Last week on Wednesday, Hayat had filed a complaint with the Santacruz police station in Mumbai accusing Kohli of hitting her with a wooden mop inside the Bigg Boss house in Lonavala on December 4.The complaint was later transferred to the Lonavala police station for investigation Following a complaint filed by Hayat, the police had booked Kohli under Sections 324, 509, 506 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code .Both Kohli and Hayat were participants in the Bigg Boss Saath 7 reality show aired on Colors TV and hayat was recently evicted from Bigg Boss 7.Responding to the arrest, the actress said: “People told me I am doing this for publicity.But I say violence against women isn’t a joke.

I don’t need publicity as I am doing well in life.People said nothing would come of it, but I had faith in the system.”.
