Khammam ZP goes to TDP account!

Ruling party of Andhra Pradesh has bagged Khammam district Zilla Parishad.

The election which was postponed couple of weeks later took place today.

TDP was one seat short to win this election and with the support of Left parties the party has bagged the post.CPI and CPM decided to support TDP and with the support of 22 members out of 39 ,TDP candidate Kavita became the ZP Chairman.

Vasudeva Rao of TDP is elected as the Vice Chairman with similar support.TDP agreed to give Ex-Officio Member posts one each to CPI and CPM With this out of 9 ruling TRS had won 7 Zilla Parishad Chairman posts and TDP ,Congress won one chairman psot in Telangana districts.
